So I decided that I'd jump on the blogging bandwagon. Here I sit, in bed, swollen and in pain from my lovely procedure yesterday, bored out of my mind. I've always said that I'd get a blog when we got married, and then everyone can stalk us from wherever they may be. So I'm two months early, what's it to you?
Yesterday, I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed. Oh what a great experience that turned out to be. I go into the oral surgeou with my dad, and the Doctor proceeds to tell me everything that can go wrong, great way to start out right? As if my stomach wasn't already churning. This was the first time I'd undergone any type of "surgery," the first time I'd had an IV in my arm, and the first time receiving stiches. Not bad for 19 years old. I don't remember much after inititally sitting in the chair, I watched the assistant struggle to find a vain, nothing new, and since I don't mind needles, I enjoyed watching the struggle. After that, I woke up...in another room, how they got me there, I don't know. I felt fine yesterday, no swelling, just a lot of tingling from the anesthesia wearing off, but today...oh today. Still not too much swelling, but definitely a lot of pain. Thank goodness for Loratab.
