North Cackalack

John, Patty, and I went to North Carolina the first weekend in November to visit Jim, Jess, Alice, and new baby brother Jacob.
We flew through Atlanta, and then into South Carolina.
In one weekend, I visited three new states.
That's like double the amount of states I have been to! (But, not really).
While we were there, we went shopping at the largest mall I have ever been to in my life.
No joke.
This mall had a Coach Factory Store so of course I had to buy a new purse.
My husband loves me a lot.
I spent as much time as I could holding this little guy.
We also went to the Renaissance Festival.
It was quite the adventure, it's like an all-out party.
They had a show there where they were displaying different kinds of birds, and I got some pretty cool pictures!

Check out this guy's eyes. Amaaazing.
This one didn't want to come down from the roof...

I honestly don't know what kind of bird this is, but I like this picture.
So, yeah.
Alice and I rode a ride, and we bought her some fairy wings and a wand.
Favorite auntie..right here.
All I have ever heard about this Festival is about the Turkey legs, so of course I had to try one. That thing was freaking massive.
John tried on some Pirate coats.
And proved his strength.
And we saw the infamous fairy.
Twig, I believe is her name.
The whole reason we went out there, really, was to go to Jacob's blessing.
This is everyone that was there.  Jess' family, us, and some family friends from the ward.
Jess, Jim, Alice and Jacob.
And of course, I had to get some pictures of the little guy by himself.

And the clown fish.
Of course.
It was a fun trip! Hard to come home, but what can ya do!
Thank you to Jim and Jess for inviting us, and letting us stay with them for the weekend!
